how do you remove the "safe mode" from the myspace profile editor?

My friend has a music myspace page, and she is undergoing a complete overhaul on her myspace account to bring it up to date. I told her that I would work on it for her, but she seems to have it set to "safe mode" so I can't access the profile editor... anyone know how to take it off of safe mode? everything I have found about it online doesn't seem to give an answer!
